Trouble with opening a .docx file

Since launch of MS Office 2007, Microsoft set a new standard extension for WORD files a .docx instead of the older and widely used .doc With other words, You cant open a Word 2007 document with older versions of MS Word neither with OpenOffice or any word processor other then Word 2007.

So, what are the solutions? To buy an MS Office 2007 (prices starts from 229$ for Word only), or to use a conversion software (preferably free). I would choose the second for sure. So, I've "googled" for the "docx 2 doc" convertor and find one that is free and web based: http://www.docx2doc.com
