A built in file explorer in Wondows doesnt change much since Win95 came 15 years ago. That time I still used DOS from time to time as many aplications work under this oldtimer. That time there was a DOS file manager - Norton Commander (NC). Some of the older guys have remembered and used it. it was great because it offers a dual panel (2 parts displays 2 different folders or drives). This concept works great but was forgoten in later years since there were some efforts to revive it (thru Total Commander).
Newest addition to this concept is a 4 panels (quad) for displaying drive and folder contents. Here comes Q-Dir a 4 panel file explorer which can display your drive and folder content x4 at same time. Q-Dir or Quad explorer offers a different way for managing your files. Regular right click menu is still present but you can use many of the built in functions (buttons) for more complex file/folder management.
I've tried Q-Dir and I love it. You'll love it too.
